“Been meaning to send an email to thank you for my headpiece for my wedding in June. I was really happy with it and it looked stunning on all the photos! Thanks for accommodating the last minute change from headband to comb, it was perfect.”
Two of my favourite things in the world – tiaras and cake can be brought together in the latest addition to our fabulous brides gallery.
I first met Leanne Tang at a wedding fair where we were both exhibiting and she tried on some of my headpieces. She fell for the Rio headband and heather jewellery. Leanne works for her family business, Terry Tang cakes, who produce the most wonderful wedding and occasion cakes from their shop in Liverpool.
I can’t imagine the pressure Leanne’s father Terry must have been under to make a spectacular cake for his daughters wedding day but I think spectacular is the only word that suits it! See what you think below in the photos.
Leanne herself looks simply stunning, her hair and make up were by Beautybox at the Wedding House.

Some lovely pictures in from our bride Rachel who came a long way to visit our shop and try some headpieces on. She chose the Lulu and heather bracelet and earrings.
This is rather late but I just wanted to let you know how much I loved the Lulu headband you made for my wedding last summer, it definitely made my dress and the whole look complete and I felt so glam. A couple of photos included in case you wanted to see how good it looked with my dress! It was well worth the trip to Liverpool. I was so lucky and had the best day of weather from the whole summer I’m sure!
Thanks so much
Our bride Rachel, had her dress made for the big day and wanted to have a headpiece to compliment it. She brought a piece of the lace into the shop to match the details and I had an idea to use the lace to make the headpiece rather than trying to match it. This turned out to be trickier than I had imagined but I think the end result was perfect for the dress, Rachel’s hair and the venue. I also made long pearl drop earrings and a Rosa bracelet to continue the pearl theme. We think she looks stunning!
